So, a co-worker and I were discussing what our favourite zombie movies are. And it got me to thinking, I should make an official list. So, for your zombie killin' pleasure, my top ten zombie movie list:
1) Zombieland (2009)
2) Return of the Living Dead (1985)
3) Night of the Living Dead (1968)
4) 28 Days Later (2002)
5) Undead (2003)
6) Fido (2006)
7) Shaun of the Dead (2004)
8) Dawn of the Dead (2004)
9) Dead and Breakfast
10) House of the Dead (2003)
HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Dance of the Dead (2008), Dawn of the Dead (1978), Land of the Dead (2005), Zombie Strippers (2008), SARS Wars (2004), Resident Evil Trilogy (2002, 2004, 2007), Slither (2006)
So, I fully realize not everyone would agree with me on these. Just for clarification, Return of the Living Dead and Night of the Living Dead were the first two zombie movies I ever saw, so they had to be in the top three. House of the Dead is a total guilty pleasure. And if you love zombie movies with comedy and have not seen Undead, Fido, or Dead and Breakfast, then you absolutely must see those!
