Okay, Avatar ROCKS! Period. No question. I'll admit, the first couple episodes didn't grab me. But before it was over I ended up watching season 1 & 2 in about four days.
That being said, while I enjoy this series of drawings I've come up with, they are not the last. More will come, better ones. Fire Nation - What to say? A good bad guy? With characters that are easy to love? Y'know what? I really love all characters from all nations, EXCEPT that punk Jet. Other than that, I don't dislike any of them. My thoughts on these fellows: Zuko - I'll admit, I didn't like him right away, I was thinking he'd be the Sasuke (Naruto) of the show, but he quickly won me over. Especially happy Zuko... it's so baffling but I find it amusing. Uncle Iroh - FAVOURITE character. End of story. I mean, DUH!! Just how relaxed he always is, but then when he fights he's awesome. I'm so sad Mako (voice actor) passed away. That is just depressing. The face is based on the scene where Iroh goes "Zuko, you will love this" to which Zuko thinks Iroh spotted Aang, only to have Iroh go "The white lotus piece was in my sleeve the whole time!!" Izula - Y'know what I love about her? She's a character that is easy to hate. Not in a bad way, not like "I wish this character wasn't in this show." But in the way we are supposed to hate bad guys. Kind of like the bad guy (Phoenix) in Gladiator. Izula is so wicked, so cruel, and so bitchy that I love to hate her! And I love that even her family is afraid of her. Zuko : "I know what you're thinking uncle, she's my sister and I shouldn't fight her." Iroh : "No, she's crazy and needs to go down." |
